Nourishing the Future: Tango Kido Milk Launches New Formula for Children

According to Indonesia’s National Food Agency, the country’s per capita milk consumption is only around 16.27 kg per year—significantly below the benchmark set by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which recommends 30 kg per capita per year. Concerned by this situation, OT Group—one of the leading players in Indonesia’s FMCG industry—continues to innovate in support of improved child nutrition by launching Tango Kido Milk.

With more than seven decades of presence in Indonesians’ daily lives, OT Group consistently develops products that meet local needs. At the "MOMMY N’ ME" exhibition for mothers, babies, and children held in Jakarta, OT Group introduced Tango Kido Milk in its newly designed packaging and improved formula.

As part of the government’s ongoing strategic initiative, Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), there is a growing need for large-scale milk supply. The Ministry of Agriculture has projected that by 2029, the MBG program will require 8.5 million tons of milk annually.

Targeting children aged 2–6 years old, Tango Kido Milk is designed not only with complete nutrition but also with fun, engaging packaging. “To make it more appealing, the new packaging features cheerful, animal-themed characters that reflect children's personalities—such as Kasper the Tiger, Kira the Giraffe, Kong the Monkey, Kelsi the Cow, and Kuki the Bear.
