In the spirit of compassion and togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan, OT Group, one of Indonesia’s leading consumer goods companies, reaffirmed its social commitment by collaborating with the classic motorcycle community Brotherhood Bikers Community (BBC) Jakarta to distribute thousands of takjil packages to the public and motorists at the Tomang intersection in West Jakarta.

The activity began with a gathering point at the OT Building in West Jakarta, before participants departed together to the distribution location. Dozens of BBC Jakarta members, along with representatives from OT Group’s management, took part in the sharing initiative, which was carried out in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Understanding that many people are still commuting home and often caught in traffic when the Maghrib call to prayer is heard, OT Group together with BBC Jakarta distributed takjil packages featuring several of OT Group’s popular products. Refreshing Teh Gelas, the sweetness of Tango Wafer and Imperial Creme, as well as practical snacks such as Roppang and Cannon Ball were shared to bring warmth and joy to those observing the fast.

Head of Marketing Communication OT Group, Verawati, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to continuously engage and share with the community.
“Ramadan is not only a moment for giving, but also about being truly present for the community. We hope OT products can become companions that warm people’s iftar moments amid the fatigue of their journeys, proving that care can come in the simplest yet most meaningful forms,” said Verawati.

This collaboration also reflects OT Group’s close connection with the dynamics of today’s communities, including the automotive community known for its strong spirit of solidarity. The synergy between the business sector and community groups serves as a powerful force in delivering meaningful and relevant social initiatives.

Captain of BBC Jakarta, Arief Purnomo Suntoso, also expressed his appreciation for the collaboration.
“In celebration of our community’s 13th anniversary, we wanted to mark the occasion with an activity that benefits others. Sharing takjil with motorists who are still on the road is a form of solidarity that aligns with the spirit of togetherness we always uphold. We are proud to collaborate with OT Group in this initiative,” he said.

Through this activity, OT Group reaffirms its commitment to contributing sustainably, not only through consumer goods products that are loved by the Indonesian community, but also through meaningful initiatives that bring direct benefits to society.
